Dr Naomi Wakefield

Dr Naomi has recently moved from the UK to join the team at The Bridge Family Practice.
She obtained her medical degree in the UK from The University of Cambridge in 2012 and qualified as a GP in 2017, after which she worked in a practice in the UK before deciding to bring her skills to Australia. Since qualifying as a GP, she has obtained additional qualifications in Women’s Health.
Dr Naomi is happy to see patients with a wide range of General Practice related problems, but she does have a specialist interest in Women’s Health including HRT/menopause, contraception and sexual health. She is experienced in IUD/Mirena and contraceptive implant fitting/removal, as well as ring pessary fitting and insertion.
Outside of work, Dr Naomi enjoys fitness classes, long walks along the beach, cooking and baking.
