Dr Myo”Henry” Aung

MBBS MRCGP (UK), MSc (Diabetes Care and Management UK), DFSEM ( Diplomate member of the faculty of sports and exercise medicine UK)

Dr. Aung recently relocated from the UK after completing his training as a GP registrar, in Scotland to join the Bridge Family Practice and Skin Clinic.

Prior to that he completed his foundation training at King’s College Trust Hospital in London and continued with physician training in various medical specialties before entering GP career. He also has experience working in fields like emergency medicine, ear nose and throat surgery and general surgery. He also rotated through psychiatry and paediatrics during his training.

In addition to his qualifications, he holds a master’s degree in diabetes care. Is a member of the faculty of sports and exercise medicine and Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK.

His main focus lies in delivering care across all aspects of practice with a particular interest in managing chronic conditions such as complex diabetes, hypertension, musculoskeletal issues, ENT problems, men’s health concerns, minor surgeries (like removing lumps or ingrown toenails) as well as providing services for iron infusion therapy and venesections.

Looking ahead to the future, he hopes to develop his skills, in skin procedures and conducting skin checks.

Outside of work he enjoys playing golf, going to the gym and spending quality time with his family. He is originally from Burma and speaks English, Shan and Burmese.
